If you are planning to fit the product into the reveal (recess, architrave) of the window – you need to measure the width and height 3 times at different intervals. A good rule of thumb is to measure ‘top, middle & bottom’ and ‘left, centre & right’.
Once you have collated the three measurements, you need to take the smallest measurement – we would then deduct an additional 5mm or 10mm off to allow for tolerance.
Crimeshield, Window Bars and Retractable Security Grilles can be classed as a DIY product – they will be supplied with standard fitting instructions but you will need to purchase your own fixings (which are listed in the ‘What Fixings Should I use?)
Products like Roller Shutters, Hammerglass, Steel Doors and Bar Gates would need to be installed by one of our experienced installers.

Orders of Hammerglass take slightly longer at 15-20 working days from date of order.
